- Pen To Paper -

Writers are the soul of our society. Throughout history, writers have enriched our lives, entertained us, and enlivened our lives. We owe them a debt of gravity.

Many writers have been banished, killed, tortured for expressing their thoughts, for their words threatened the rulers of the state.  Socrates was condemned to death for making the people think.  We still cherish the right to express our thoughts through freedom of speech.

In the mid-nineteenth century, great thinkers would write what the referred to as “thought papers or thought experiments” in which they espoused their ideas and concepts, and went on to validate and affirm them.  Einstein was famous for such essays and arguments.  “Pen to Paper” continues that tradition by presenting innovative ideas, concepts, and thoughts to be shared.  Knowledge is universal to be shared with all who believe in knowledge.  The initial thought paper is appropriately “The Philosophy of Knowledge,” the foundation of learning and human progress.

As our world spins and revolves, humans create events, episodes and issues that continue to shape society. Whether we progress or regress is a matter of definition and individual perspective. As a bystander observer, these situations raise random thoughts about the state of the world in which we live: our lives, its people, events, issues, and concerns that impact our lifestyles, systems, economic environment, politics, and social norm. I have drafted over 300 articles, essays and thought papers for pending publication with the intent to provoke thinking through intelligent dialogue. It is not about biased opinions of right or left or right and wrong, but conversations between people who want to share ideas in a normal, healthy, intellectual manner.

In that spirit, Pen to Paper will be updated in a series of three components:
